*Waves Hello*

Hello, all!

I'm normally a chronic KAL lurker, but "Fitted Knits" is so amazing, I really want to take part in this one!  I'm not even an especially daring dresser, but I think Stephanie's created some truly lovely designs.  There were a least six that I was considering for a first project, but as my shape will be changing quite drastically over the next seven months (ahem!), I settled on the Back-to-School Vest.  I'm going to look for either a tweedy or heathery pumpkin shade of Cascade 220, I think.

While I'm here, could I suggest that if you haven't yet had a chance to leave an Amazon.com review, you might consider doing so?  There have been several killjoys recently on the "Fitted Knits" review thread, and they've brought down the book's rating.

Thanks to Robin for organizing this -- I can't wait to start!

Hi Katinka, Welcome to the Fitted Knits KAL! I am usually a lurker too, but Robin was so nice to put this KAL together for us. I was going to leave a comment on your blog but there weren't any posts, so... I really like the Back to School vest too. It was basically a tie between that one and the Turtleneck Tube vest. I have no yarn for either of these as of yet. I look forward to getting to know you in the coming months.

It sounds like congratulations are in order on the shape change :) Yay for you! And welcome to the KAL...

Thanks for the update. I just put in my review to Amazon.

Hi Katinka - Welcome! Thanks on the nice comments about organizing the KAL. I just love being able to talk to other knitters who love the book as much as I do. Also, great suggestion on the Amazon review - I will do this when I get some time. I hadn't realized it was getting bad reviews.

Robin

Welcome to the kal. I have not taken part in many kal's. My first one was a few years ago so it was about time.
