cropped cardigan
i finally got around to taking some pictures of my cropped cardigan. i knit it to go with this adorable dress i found at anthropologie. if i look freezing in the outdoor picture, its because i am :) the lighting inside was terrible and i really wanted a decent picture. i substituted brown sheep co's burly spun for the cascade magnum and added a few stitches to make up for the slight difference in gauge. i also added several rows to make the sleeves longer but those were the only modifications.

It looks great and matches the dress very well.

That looks great!! I agree with Bobbi - I like yours better than the one in the book too. Thanks also for the idea of using Brown Sheep and adjusting for the gauge difference!!

Hi - I love it - especially the color. Is it difficult to knit? What are the most difficult stitches?

Hi - I love your sweater and am making the same in Brown Sheep Burly spun in Oak. When I did the guage test it was OK on size 15 needles (6 stitches for 4") but now that I'm knitting it is is 8", unless I stretch it. It seems very tight and stretchable. What happened when you blocked your sweater? Did it really stretch even more? I'm not certain if I should restart with bigger needles or just stretch it. Any advise?
