Voila! Short-Sleeved Cardigan with Ribbing
So, I finally finished this...at about 5pm today. I had a few problems with the center back decreases (my version has errata), so I emailed Stefanie and she helped me out. Not too much to say about it, except that I am so over this. It's like when you spend all day on this elaborate dinner, then, when it's time to eat, it's the last thing you want to eat. Anybody get what I'm saying?
Of course, I see all the things that aren't perfect, and I may end up doing the buttonband over. It is sort of bunchy and rumply...we'll see. That will add another hour..not too bad. All that aside, I really dig this 'knitting stuff I can wear". This is my first sweater I have knit for myself, I did whip up the One Skein Wonder while waiting for this KAL to start.
I got a lot of compliments on my buttons, thanks! I made them myself......cool, huh?! They too, aren't perfect, as I've never made buttons before. My next problem is that my yarn for the drop-stitch lace tank is green, a bit close to this color. I feel like I need a color change, so I may run off to my LYS and grab something else....we'll see. I will take a break for a couple of days.
The pictures aren't great....it was 6ish and the lighting was bad.

It looks great on you. Love the buttons.

This looks just so perfect. It is a very nice color, too. But I can understand the need for a new color for next project. I am boing different colors and like switching between them.

I think it looks absolutely FABOLOUS! I agree with the color change. I'm doing the Turtleneck Tube Vest instead of the Textured Tunic since my last project color was too close.

This turned out really nice. I may need to add it to my list. The list is too long already.

I think it looks awesome! Better than the version in the book. I think this may have just moved up on my list.
