Alexandra Completed!
I'm very happy with this one, even though I won't be able to wear her for several months! I used 8 balls of RYC Soft Tweed in Kingfisher, and further details are over at the blog.

I love the way this came out! I am considering knitting this again the future in a solid tone. Your modifications came out very nice:)

Pretty! I love how the solid color really brings out the cables! It just makes them pop! Very Nice!

Great in the solid color...like the mods too.

Nice sweater--I like the longer length, too!

Well done! Isn't it amazing.. I love your sweater and also Marisols.
You would think, at first glance, they were two entirely different patterns! I think that is what is so wonderful about this KAL.. that we are knitting the same patterns yet bring our own individuality to them.
Now I want to knit TWO Alexandras: one to wear with jeans and one to wear with dress pants/skirt.

Your solid color version of this sweater looks great--you can really see the cables! Lovely fit, too. I'm reconsidering this pattern now!

That's gorgeous! I was wondering what it would look like in a solid color and am totally psyched to knit that up. I'll put it on my list!
