I am looking forward to making this long coat. Here is my swatch, I have chosen tp knit it up in Debbie Bliss Soho. I love the colour of this one. I have done the swatch on 9mm needles and it just about matches up to the guage but I will do one on 10m just to make sure. I can wait to wear this baby we are having no summer here in the UK its all thunder storms at the moment so I am looking forward to huddling up on the sofa is this cozy coat.

i want to make the coat. i really laughed when i read that you wanted to wear yours sitting on your sofa?! oMgosh what a waste, the colours are so pretty! if you don't mess up it will look fabulous!

Have you started this? I am doing this coat and in the chevron lace on row 8, I am having problems. You start off k2, *yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k3; rep from * There should be a multiple of 8 plus 1 and all the other rows work out, except this one. Am I reading this wrong? Other than that, I love this pattern. I have done the bold jacket also and these are great. I love this book!
