Spicy Tee - problems!!!
Well... I had seen someone knit up the Spicy Fitted V-Neck Tee on Craftster... and wow - talk about cute!! Although I am one that really liked the one in the book! Maybe it was the color? Anyhow - I decided to set aside all my other projects and cast on so I could finish the Spicy Tee in time to give it to my daughter who is leaving for several months... well - the women in our family are busty gals... so I cast on for a 40" or 42" (sorry I don't have the pattern in front of me) - and quickly found out that the pattern has a lot of mistakes in it! ugh! I did check the errata but I'm still finding mistakes - and it's slowing me down... but I'm trying to keep good notes so I can post them at a later date... another problem I am having is - the back is NOT turning out like it looks in the book... I'm trying to be as careful as I can and I've ripped back a couple of times - but something is wrong... needless to say - I'm about ready to take it off the needles and finish my other projects and find something else to knit quick for my daughter... anyone else have problems with this pattern??? sorry for the rant - I'm frustrated!

Oh--I thought it was just me! Yes, there are mistakes. In row 1, you have to reverse the "p6 (6,8,8,8)" with the "p7 (7,9,9,9).
The back lacework is different in that you have a single yarnover hole stacked in the center top of the two yarnover hole columns, but the directions are correct for it. It is the same as on the sleeves, a little pyramid at the top of the columns. I made my sleeves 3/4 length, so I had columns of holes instead of just three holes.
This was only the second sweater I'd made, so I figured it was just me! I may have just winged it when it wasn't making sense to me, so there could certainly be more mistakes. My mom made it after I did, with only my corrections, so it is doable.
I hope this helps you!

Thanks!! I'm pretty much wining it also! Glad to know I'm not the only one that is having problems... Unfortunately - it's not going to be done by the time my daughter leaves.. so I'll have to send it to her. But I am determined to get it done!

I am making this spicy tee for the first time. Yes, I am very frustrated. I'm a pretty good knitter, but like it when the directions are clear. Please Help! Can anyone post their notes as to how they fixed the pattern? The stitch counts? There is not much for corrections on the internet, I'm looking. Thank you!
