FO Bold and Bulky Mini Cardi
Here she is....I must admit, I do like her. She has everything I don't like about knitting:
~acrylic (wool blend) yarn
~super-bulky yarn
~large needle knitting
In spite of that, I like the finished product. I have yet to find buttons that work...but, I don't care so much. I may wear it without the buttons!
Pattern: Bold and Bulky Mini Cardi
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick 2 skeins (MC) Cranberry 1.25 skeins (CC) Charcoal
Needles: sizes 13, 11, and 10
Size: small 38"
Mods:
I did 4 extra MC rows at bottom before switching to CC....I didn't like
how it fell right at bottom edge of the girls...felt weird. Also, my
gauge was a bit off, I should've used size 15 needles...but I am
nowhere near a 38" chest...even with my fantastic new bra! I just
figured it would work out...and I was right.
Oh, here I am, actually attempting to smile...and it doesn't look so fake...right?!

Cute!! I love it!

Looks great! So glad you posted pics as I am working on this as well, and have been a little worried about where the opening hits before the button bands are added...looks like I am on the right track! I have also made some mods to the length.

I wasn't sure I wanted to make this, but seeing yours in all it's glory has changed my mind. I love your choice of colors.

Wow - that is nice!
To be honest, I did not really like this in the book. Maybe it was the colors or the buttons or maybe because it did not look like a nice fit for the girl in the picture!
But now that I have seen yours I might just make this one.
