Inspired to start

I'm glad to be part of this group and to have company working on the projects from this great book!  I've decided to start with the Shaped Lace Tee and ordered my yarn today, although to be honest I had a very difficult time deciding where to start.

Joan visited one of our LYSs this weekend and brought scads of finished items for us to see.  They were amazing!  I've posted a few more pictures on my blog.

It is safe to say that they are even more beautiful in person than on paper.

Joan taught a toe up sock class after showing her wares and was great!  I think it's fabulous when the person making the patterns is just as great as the patterns themselves, and this was definitely the case with Joan.

I look forward to seeing everyone's progress!
