Shaped Lace Tee Sleeve Tip from Joan M-M

I don't know how many of you are also members of the Yahoo group Joan set up for the book, but she posted this yesterday and I thought I'd share with those of you who might not have seen this.  I thought that many people might find this helpful.

She says (referring to the Shaped Lace Tee):

For those who prefer a regular type of Tee shirt sleeve rather than a
cap sleeve, try this:

Cast on 9 more stitches than the size you're working on specifies,
work in pattern stitch A as directed, knit in pattern stitch B for 2",
then bind off for the underarms and follow the sleeve cap directions
as written until you finish, whereupon you will cast off 9 more
stitches than the directions say to for your size. The sleeve cap will
be larger as will the bicep, and you'll have a pretty, mid size sleeve
that will give more upper arm coverage.
