GGH Safari in light green; 4 balls
Needles: Circular sizes 4, 5 and 6
Although I finished this back in September, I didn't get around to getting pictures take until now. This was a challenging knit for me.
Although I intentionally changed a few things to suit my chosen yarn, I also ran into a few problems with the pattern as written. There was some confusion on my part as to where to start the armhole shaping and how long to make the front. I also had some problems with the sleeves.
More information on my Notorious journey can be found on the individual Notorious blog entries.
I love the original pattern so much; it's a little disappointing to not have my finished knit have some of the elements that I love the most [like the sweet fluttery sleeves]. I'm happy that it's done, regardless. I'm hoping that I'll get some wear out of it once the temperatures warm up...in about 5 months. ha ha!

Wow! That is really cute - nice job!

thanks for posting this. I'm making the same top myself and I'm getting the same result with the sleeves! (I had to google and see if anyone else out there had the same trouble) It's such a let down; I love the way they look in the picture. There must be something wrong with the pattern--not us!
