Looks great! I'd ixnay the bows, but that's just me. As me on another day and I'd say hell yes to the bows. Go figure.

I'd take the hemp if no one else wants it :)

Melissa

Your sweater looks amazing!

Monica

Your Eiffel looks great! I am thinking about redoing mine in a different color with the longer sleeves, especially after seeing yours! Yeah, I wouldn't bother with the ribbons either! You're lookin' good!

Kristina

It looks great! If I were to make it for me, I would absolutely NOT put the ribbons on the arms. No, no, no. But I might try it out on the body and see what I think. You can always pull it out, if it looks silly...

Michelle

Too Cute!! YOu were fast! I wouldn't do the ribbon myself...I'm not a really ribbony girl though!

Cheryl

hi Robin,

Eiffel looks awesome! I'd leave off the ribbon! Either way it'll be great!

sandra

Love, love, love, love eiffel (with or without purple bra!)

Katie J

Looks great! You have so many FO's! I'm so jealous.

Amber

Very pretty! And wow, you are such a fast knitter! I think you turn out about 5 FO's in the time it takes me to do one!!

Janet

DOH! I missed out on the hemp!

Beautiful Eiffel and the color looks great on you -- I love hemp after it's been washed and dried. The dryer softens it up so much.

tiennie

Looks beautiful! I'm amazed by how great you are at getting sweaters to fit you well.

Keanalee

I'm Back! I love the sweater, I think the ribbons wold make it romantic! Can you try them with & then take them out later?

stefaneener

The bra cracks me up. Sorry to hear that the hemp hurt. I remember cotton making my hands ache.

The ribbon -- I like the way it defines the jump from lace to the bodice, but not so much on the arms. Try it, at least. You might really like it.

That was fast!

Lynda

It's beautiful! I only put the chest ribbon on mine, but tied it in the back, being that I felt a little old for bows :o)

Marina

It's lovely! Did the hemp soften up after the wash?

Lara

Perfect!

BTW ~ did realize your birthday had come and gone. So Happy Belated Birthday!

Hannah

I've got this one in my planned projects and got the yarn a couple of weeks ago. Yours looks great. I thinks it's more sporty without the ribbon.

Bobbi

wow it looks great!

CanarySanctuary

Awesome awesome awesome! I really love it. The colour is amazing!

About the ribbon: On mine, I found the arm ones to be a little much. The bustline one was good for keeping the top in place.
The good thing about the ribbon is you can very easily keep it or nix it.

Sourire11

Wow! That color is fabulous. Love it. I think I'd skip the ribbons ... although I'm not really a ribbons kindof girl.

hookiemama

Love the eiffel. Suits you very well.
What I want to know is: did the hemp get softer after washing? I have only made a necklace with hemp and it was pretty rough. Don't fancy THAT much exfoliation of the upper body, for the sake of (knitting) art! lol.

About Me

  • I love to knit and sew, although not as obsessively as I used to. Now I'm more focused on quality over quantity as I have less free time to work on crafting now that I have started a new, more demanding (but rewarding) job. I'm RobinM on Ravelry and RobinMCPA on Twitter if you want to stop by and say hi!
