Finally!! Lace & Cable Sweater and Coquette Lace Tube Top

I finally finished the lace and cable sweater:

8607 007

Pattern: Lace & Cable Sweater from Classic Elite Summertime Knits
Designer: Cathy Zimmerman
Yarn: Cascade Pima Tencel
Size: 34

8607 003

8607 006

I'm happy with how this one turned out - it fits great and I am much happier about the neckline than I thought I would be. Everything works. The sleeves are about an inch longer than I like them, but fine and very wearable. I've turned them up for the photos though.

And now for the 2nd FO, the Coquette Lace Tube Top.

8607 011

8607 008

8607 010

8607 009

Pattern: Coquette Lace Tube Top from Fitted Knits
Designer: Stefanie Japel a/k/a Glampyre
Yarn: Cascade Pima Tencel
Size: XS

I haven't yet woven in a ribbon at the top through the eyelets and it desperately needs this if I were going to wear it without anything under it. However, I wanted to get the pictures taken already! Overall, I like it, but am not thrilled.

I'll save the Fifi, Tree Jacket and Surplice Bodice Camisole WIPs for another post as this is getting long, but suffice it to say that Fifi is now behaving herself.

WoW! You're on a roll! Both pieces look really great. I don't know how I missed that tube top in Fitted Knits. I'll have to take another look!

Robin they both look great!! Dang! you are making me want to do the tube top!!! I would add straps!!!!!

I love the Lace and Cables, it turned out great :) Coquette is a really pretty color, as soon as my Turtleneck Vest is done, that's my next Fitted Knits project

The Lace and Cable came out great! I so love that color! No biggie about the sleeves.

Why weren't you happy about the Coquette? I still plan to knit it up and agree that a ribbon will help the knitted top from sliding down. I want to wear mine under a blazer or shrug! Love the lace pattern down the middle!

I am going to make mine in RED! :oD

I love the Lace and Cable on you! The little red top is going to be rockin' once you get the ribbon in! Foxy mama!!

The lace and cable looks great.

I would love to see your Coquette Lace Tube Top without a cami underneath. I just started mine this weekend. I am going to have to adjust things for fit.

Ooh, I love that color yellow on you, and the sweater is great!

Super cute!! I love love love the lace and cables! The color is great!

The tube is very cute too, I don't think I could ever pull that one off!

The Lace and cables sweater looks fantastic! Soooo pretty! I like the tube top. I think the Ribbon will help though....but it is really cute!

I totally *love* the yellow!

Love the lace & cables! The tube top will behave with the ribbon. It looks really good though. I hadn't even thought about making that one, but now I see yours & I might have to! I'm glad Fifi is behaving for you. I still read SKC even though I'm not doing either of them, and it seems like everyone is having trouble with it.

And, you have a Romi and a Michelle in your comments. LOL.

Both FOS are lovely, but I am seriously drooling over the Lace and Cables! That Cathy Zimmerman really knows her stuff! :) I love it in the vibrant yellow, too -- you don't seem to see too many knits in that color, but it suits you perfectly.

Both of them look great! This fall I think I'll be "finally" tackling my first sweater. :) I'll be at Stitches on Sat. - not sure if I'll be able to make it to the meetup (depends on the availability of my knit gals).

I really like the cable and lace sweater and that is a great shade of yellow. wow! The Coquette Lace Tube Top looks great too! Are you going to add straps?

You did a fantastic job! They both look incredible! Are you sure you do not have a knitting machine at home?LOL...just kidding...it would take me 6 months to finish those projects. It up the good work!

You are amazing. And I love how the cat is paying no attention to you whatsoever in the final photo. . .

I looooove the yellow! I like your tube top too. I keep waffling about making this one.

Lace and cables is so nice, I love the cheerful yellow.

Both look very nice. I can't imagine a better neck on the lace and cables.

I love the colors you've used in your sweater and tube top, both look very nice. I want to knit a top for myself next but am struggling slowly with my first pair of socks!

I'm kinda loving the lace and cable -- the colour particularly, which would be weird for me since I tend to look green in yellow, thus steer clear. But on you, it looks fabulous!

The cable sweater came out great! It looks like your kitty wants to go outside in one of the pics. :)

Great Fo's!! I especially love the cable/lace sweater - great color, great fit... really a beautiful sweater.

Hello Gorgeous!

Both are fabulous and the colors you picked look amazing on you.
Bee-you-tee-full work Robin!

Both look great. As always, you turned it out. I've never tried the Cascade Pima Tencel. It looks so good in your photos
