Finished Spicy Fitted Tee!

I finally finished the Spicy Fitted Tee and I'm really happy with it!

Here's all the stats:

Yarn: Rowan Cotton Tape, in "Bleached" (about 8 skeins)
Needles: Size 10 1/2 Bamboo
Size: 34 with modifications

Modifications: On hip shaping, did increases every other row and knit the odd rows to shorten the distance from waist to hip

Here I am with all three of my sewing/serging machines set up:

10207 010

I also worked on my purse for my sewing class and got everything done except the bottom. Here are some progress pics.

I'm really happy with how the lining came out and I think this is a really cute spring bag.

very cute, that tee look great on you

Cute, cute sweater --- I especially like how it looks darted/shaped in the back. And the bag is adorable --- you should be so proud of your sewing skills.

Love it Robin!! Now I want to make mine next! LOL Your bag is cute too!!!

I like your tee. Did you make any mods to it? I'd be surprised if you said no (:-) The bag is cute. I like that fabric you selected. I've yet to sew a bag. Your bag looks like it can get addicting.

Oh, the spicy tee is really cute! I love the purse too. The fabric will be perfect for spring.

Um, could I get one of those bags too? The tee looks great and obviously I'm covetous of that bag.

Cute tee! This is like the best knitting book ever.

Love the tee. Looks awesome on you!

The Tee looks great! Nice fit and very wearable. That purse is going to be cute. I love the fabric.

This may be my favourite thing on you yet.

What a great fit! It looks like something you can wear a lot, very versatile.

I just read your post from yesterday too, and wanted to comment on your thoughts on taking care of yourself. One thing on my mind lately is that my mom has arthritis, and I keep thinking that if I don't exercise regularly now, it's going to be harder to move around as I get older. We take it for granted that we'll be able to do everything we want to do as we get older, but seeing her struggle with gardening and other physical tasks makes me re-consider.

the T looks great! I really love the fabric you've picked for the purse.

Hmm....may have to add that one to the queue. Looks good!

OHH that sweater is super cute! It fits you great! Love the purse too, it's adorable. The fabric is great!

I love your tee! I can't wait to do that one too! Maybe for the spring time! :o)

And I also can't believe you have THREE working sewing machines!! Haha

Do you ever sleep? I swear you manage to crank out three sweaters in the time i knit one pair of socks. LOL

I LOVE the fabric you used for your bag, very pretty.

Love the sweater! Now I'll have to think about adding that one to my ever increasing list of sweaters I want to make!

Fantastic as usual...

Another FO???????? You are crazy woman!

Oh ps- it looks great by the way!

Just love the fitted tee. I remain in awe. I don't know how you do it, and it looks fab on you. Love the back shaping, so flattering.

The bag looks great aswell - and THREE sewing machines. I'm so jealous.
xx

That tee looks amazing on you! I'm always so envious of just how perfect all your finished items are.

it's a great fit, Robin. and your bag is awesome. eventually i'll get in a sewing class.

Very cute on you!

Fantastic. Where else would you find a pattern for a bulky/chunky gauge top that is actually flattering and fitted? Yours looks great!
